Localized populations of Canada geese are growing, and so is the damage and dangers they cause.

Resident goose populations never leave, overgrazing and rapidly denuding lawns and whole landscapes, turning them into barren areas of dirt that once held lush grasses and ornamental plantings, tramping emerging grass and plants, while increasing erosion and runoff from yards where the lawns have been grazed.

And geese foul ponds and swimming ares with fecal matter. Geese also nip and attack people who venture too close to them!
